TShirt Palace, a major e-commerce store specialising in custom and graphic apparel, was spending heavily across digital advertising without accurate end-to-end tracking. Crovilo built a complete tracking infrastructure through Google Tag Manager — multi-channel tracking, full e-commerce events and server-side setup — giving Smart Bidding the clean signals it needed. Over two years the account returned $7.45M in revenue at 4.14x ROAS.
Figures cover September 2024 to September 2026 across Google Ads, Microsoft and Meta.
TShirt Palace was spending heavily on digital advertising but lacked robust, accurate tracking across platforms. Without clean conversion data, Smart Bidding in Google Ads and Meta could not optimise effectively — ROAS reporting was inaccurate because purchase signals were missing, budget leaked into non-converting traffic, and with no server-side or enhanced data capability, users were far harder to track after the iOS 14 privacy updates.
Three layers, built inside a single modular GTM container.
Configured Google Ads purchase tracking with Enhanced Conversions, passing hashed user data for precision matching. Implemented custom micro-conversions — Add to Cart, Checkout, View Cart and Page View — to feed the funnel, plus Dynamic Remarketing and Remarketing tags.
Built full GA4 e-commerce event tracking across view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout and purchase, then configured server-side and enhanced GA4 event streams so conversion data survived browser and privacy restrictions.
Deployed the Meta Pixel across PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase; integrated Microsoft Bing UET with custom event tracking for carts, checkouts and dynamic conversion values; and added Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and user session recording.
By giving machine-learning algorithms clean, granular conversion data, Google Ads and paid campaigns could optimise aggressively toward high-intent shoppers. Enhanced conversions gave Smart Bidding the high-quality signals required to scale budget without losing profitability.

Before this build, missing purchase signals made ROAS reporting unreliable, budget leaked into non-converting traffic, and post-iOS 14 privacy changes cut visibility with no server-side fallback. We built one modular GTM container, wired enhanced conversions and full GA4 e-commerce events into it, and fed Google Ads, Microsoft and Meta from the same clean data.
Result: every ad dollar accurately attributed across Google Ads, Microsoft and Meta — and a modular GTM container that allows rapid testing of new marketing channels without code changes.
We’ll review your conversion tracking, your GTM and GA4 setup, and your pixel coverage across platforms to find where your data — and your budget — is leaking.
